Holloman AFB

Holloman Air Force Base (also known as Elmendorf), New Mexico, is the site, it is claimed, were in the Spring of 1964 3 UFOs landed at the base and the bases commander went out and communicated with one of the aliens. The whole event was apparently filmed.

Several prominent film producers and UFO researchers have reported that they have been been shown the above film in the early 1970's. They were told that they would be able to use this film in a UFO documentary that the Government wanted them to make. The Government at the time wanted to slowly inform the public that UFOs were real and interplanetary.

This film was to be part of the alleged 'Cosmic Journey' Project which again was intended to make the public aware of the reality of the visitors. UFO researchers/authors Timothy Good and Bob Oeschler both claimed to have been approached to help in the making of this documentary/exhibition.

The end sequence of the Oscar winning 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind' was apparently 'extremely' close to the events that happened at Holloman. (In the film Dr J. Allen Hynek was the individual who greeted the aliens at the end).
